Pryor, Mike Clark, Claire Syrett
Mayor Vinis opened the October 19, 2020, meeting of the Eugene City Council.
1. PUBLIC HEARING: An Ordinance Concerning Time Extensions for Approved Land Use
Applications and Providing an Effective Date
Mayor Vinis opened and closed the public hearing, as there was no one present to testify.
Mayor Vinis adjourned the meeting of the Eugene City Council and convened a meeting of the
Eugene Urban Renewal Agency.
2. PUBLIC HEARING and POSSIBLE ACTION: A Resolution Adopting A Supplemental
Budget; Making Appropriations for the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Eugene for
the Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2020, and Ending June 30, 2021
Mayor Vinis opened the Public Hearing.
1. John Barofsky - supported the proposed resolution and increasing the spending limit for the
downtown Urban Renewal District.
2. Ethan Klein - supported the use of supplemental URA funds for 24/7 sanitation services.
Mayor Vinis closed the Public Hearing.
MOTION AND VOTE: Agency President Semple, seconded by Agency Vice President Yeh,
moved to adopt Resolution 1095 adopting a Supplemental Budget; making appropriations for
the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Eugene for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2020 and
ending June 30, 2021. PASSED 8:0
The meeting adjourned at 7AS p.m.
