AN ORDINANCE CGNCERNING YARD DEBRIS; AND AMENDING
SECTIGNS 3.005 AND 3.274 DF THE EUGENE CODE,1911.
THE CITY OF EUGENE DGES GRDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Solid Waste and Recycling definitions set forth under Licensed
Businesses in Section 3.095 of the Eugene Code,1971, are hereby amended by addin

the following in alphabetical order therein:
3.005 For the purposes of this chapter, the following words and phrases
shall mean:
Solid yUaste and Recycling,,:
Yard debris. Includes grass clippings, leaves, hedge trimmings,
branches, and other vegetativewaste generated from residential property or
landscaping activities, but does not inlcude tree stumps, root wads, or
poisonous vegetation,
Section 2. Section 3.2?'0 of the Eugene Code,19?1, is amended by adding a new
subparagraph fie} thereto, to provide:
3.210 Solid Waste and Rec clin -Licensee Res onsibilit . In addition to
the requirements of section 3.041, each licensee shall:
fie} Provide periodic curbside collection of yard debris on a
subscription basis.
Section 3. The City Recorder, at the request of, or with the concurrence of the City
Attorney, is authorized to administratively correct any reference errors contained herein or
in other provisions of the Eugene Code, 1971, to the provisions added, amended or
repealed herein.
