ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER
OF THE
EXECUTIVE MANAGER OF THE
City of Eugene, Oregon
Under section 16(2) of the Eugene Charter, the City Manager is given authority
to make purchases and act as the business agent for the City Council ln
connection with the sale of real estate and other business and commercial
transactions. The City Manager desires to partially delegate this authority
to the Executive Managers of the various city departments or their designees.
It is the intention of the City to:
A. Provide for uniform and consistent processing of contracts.
B. Minimize the time and attention required of the City Manager for
routine contracts.
C. Clearly define areas of responsibility with regard to initiation,
execution and administration of contracts.
Based on the above, the City Manager orders that:
1. The City Manager delegates to the Executive Manager and such other
departmental personnel as the Executive Manager shall designate
the authority to execute contracts less that the following amount:

MUNICIPAL COURT
$25,000
2. Sub-delegation of contract signing authority shall be by ad-
ministrative order of the Executive Manager and shall be filed
with the City Recorder and Purchasing.
3. The Executive Manager delegates to the following positions
contract authority as noted:
