ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER
of the
CITY MANAGER
City of Eugene, Oregon
Pursuant to the authority contained in Chapter IV, Section 2(h) of the
Eugene Charter of 1976, the Management Services Department of the City of Eugene
is reorganized and consolidated with the Staff Services Department and will be
known as the Administrative Services Department.
Upon recommendation of the Administrative Services Director, the Finance
Director is appointed as the City Treasurer and shall perform those duties and
responsibilities of the "finance officer" (as defined in Section 2.500 of the
Eugene Code, 1971) set forth in Sections 2.510, 2.515, 2.525, 2.527, 2.530,
2.540, 2.542, 2.543, 2.544, 2.545, 2.546, 2.555, and 2.567 of the Eugene Code,
1971.
The Finance Director is hereby appointed as the City Recorder, and shall
perform those duties and responsibilities of the "finance officer" set forth
in Section 2.520 of the Eugene Code, 1971.
The Finance Director may delegate in writing his or her duties of City
Treasurer and Recorder and the Administrative Services Director is responsible
to direct and control the exercise of these duties.
