ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER
FINDINGS:
1. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a valuable resource
for City employees.
2. It is necessary to the effective functioning of the EAP that
employee records be kept confidential.
It is therefore ORDERED that:
As a condition of continued employment, employees, agents
and representatives of the City of Eugene shall not request or
attempt to obtain records maintained by the EAP regarding any
City employee for any purpose, unless required to do so by valid
court order.
