ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER
FINDINGS:
The December 18, 1991 arbitration oplnlon and award settling the contract
between the City of Eugene and the International Association of Fire Fight-
ers, Local 851 awarded sick leave fold-in into the Oregon Public Employes
Retirement System (PERS) benefits for IAFF-represented employees.
It is therefore ORDERED that:
Pursuant to ORS 237.153 and OAR 459-10-158, IAFF (International Associa-
tion of Fire Fighters) represented employees will be compensated for accumu-
lated unused sick leave in the form of increased PERS retirement benefits
effective July 1, 1991. The maximum sick leave reported to PERS shall be 960
hours.
