City Manager Pro Tern
APPOINTING MILO MECHAM AS HEARINGS OFFICIAL
FOR NOISE VARIANCE APPEALS.
The City Manager Pro Tern of the City of Eugene finds that:
A. Based on the findings contained therein, and pursuant to the authority of
Section 4.084 of the Eugene Code, 1971, on December 28, 1995, as Acting City Manager,
I approved a Noise Variance Request submitted by Meisser & Wurst, representing Hyundai
Semiconductor America for construction activities on the property located at 1830 Willow
Creek Road, Eugene, Oregon.
B. Section 4.084 of the Eugene Code, 1971 and the Decision provide that the
decision may be appealed by filing a notice of appeal within 15 days from the date of the
Decision.
C. Multiple appeals have been filed, and it is necessary to appoint a hearings
official to make determinations thereon. I find that Milo R. Mecham is qualified to act as
the hearings official for these appeals.
NOW, mEREFORE,
Based on the above findings, which are adopted herein, and pursuant to the authority
of Section 2.370 of the Eugene Code, 1971,
The City Manager Pro Tern of the City of Eugene orders that:
Milo R. Mecham is hereby appointed as the Hearings Official to hear and determine
the multiple appeals of the Decision of December 28, 1995 approving the N oise Variance
Request for property located at 1830 Willow Creek Road, Eugene, Oregon.
