ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER
OF THE
CITY OF EUGENE
#44-99-01
Under Section 16(2) of the Eugene Charter, the City Manager is given authority to make
purchases and act as a business agent for the City Council in connection with the sale of real
estate and other business and commercial transactions. The City Manager previously delegates
portions of this authority to the various City department Executive Managers or their designees.
It is the intent of the City to:
A. Provide for uniform and consistent processing of contracts.
B. Minimize the time and attention required of the City Manager for routine
contracts.
C. Clearly define areas of responsibility with regard to initiation, execution, and
administration of contracts.
Based on the above, the Executive Manager of the Administrative Services Department orders
that:
1. The following designees have contract authority as noted:

2. The signing and dating of this Administrative Order by the Executive Manager of
Administrative Services Department replaces Administrative Order #44-98-04.
