AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING A PLAT CHECKING FEE; AMENDING
SECTION 9.025 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971; AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN A5 FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 9.025 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is amended to pro-
vide:
9.425 Plat Checking,Fee. The city shall charge a fee set by the city
manager-pursuant to section 2.020 of this code to cover costs,
including overhead and records management, for the site inspection, measure-
ments, and calculations by the city surveyor necessary to determine that a
plat complies with state law and city requirements.
Section 2. That the matters contained herein concern the public welfare
and in order to ensure the orderly implementation of the provisions hereof,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Ordinance shall become
effective immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by
the Mayor, retention by the Mayor for more than ten days, or readoption over
a mayoral veto by two-thirds of all members of the City Council.
