FINDINGS
PROPOSED FIRE SAFETY RULES
The Notice of Intended Rulemaking regarding these proposed Rules was published
in the Register Guard from October 22, 1985 through October 26, 1985 per Chap-
ter 3 of the Eugene Code, Section 3.012. The Rules were available for public
inspection at the Permit and Information Center and interested persons were
given until Monday, October 28, 1985, at 5:00 p.m. to submit written comment.
The City received no public response to these intended Rules.
Therefore, final adoption of the Fire Safety Administrative Rules is now
authorized.

ADMINISTRATIVE ROLES
FIRE SAFETY LICENSE
A. Application Fee:
An application for a new license or for a renewal of a
license required under Section 3.175 of the Eugene Code, 1971
shall be accompanied by a non-refundable $35.00 fee.
B. Procedure for Review of Application for 1985-86 License:
1. In order to allow for efficient inspection and
enforcement, the City has been divided into the following regions
to stagger the renewal dates of fire safety licenses:
a. Region 1 - September 1
b. Region 2 - October 1
c. Region 3 - November 1
d. Region 4 - December 1
e. Region 5 - February 1
f. Region 6 - March 1
g- Region 7 - April 1
h. Region 8 - May 1
2. Licenses shall be valid from the date of issuance
to the next renewal date for the region in which located.
