ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER
of the
City Manager of the City of Eugene
Pursuant to the authority of Sections 4.876 through 4.879 of
the Eugene Code, 1971, the Director of the Eugene Development
Department is hereby designated as the person responsible for the
administration of those provisions and the provisions of the
Eugene Mall Regulations.
The Director of the Eugene Development Department is further
authorized to delegate in writing the authority and responsibility
granted herein to such person or persons within the Eugene Devel-
opment Department as he or she deems appropriate.

NOTICE OF ADOPTION
OF
EUGENE MALL REGULATIONS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Micheal D. Gleason, City Manager of the City
of Eugene, Oregon, pursuant to the authority contained in Section 4.879 of the
Eugene Code, 1971, on the 25th day of August, 1986, has promulgated and issued
Temporary Eugene Mall Regulations which:
Set forth prohibited activities; conditions to be imposed on mall
permits, including commercial pursuit permits; contain criteria for
constitutionally protected activities; establish enforcement procedures;
provide procedures for revocation and suspension of permits, permit
terms, priority for conflicting permit applications, appeals, notice,
and penalties for violation.
These Temporary Eugene Mall Regulations are necessary in order to insure
that the purpose and intent of the Mall as set forth in Sections 4.876 through
4.879 of the Eugene Code, 1971 are met.
The Temporary Eugene Mall Regulations may be reviewed at the office of
the Eugene Development Department, Community Development Division, 72 West
Broadway, Suite 200, Eugene, Oregon 97401 during normal business hours.
The City Manager will, on the 18th day of September, 1986, (20 days from
the date of publication of this notice), adopt the Temporary Eugene Mall
Regulations as Permanent Eugene Mall Regulations. All persons wishing to
comment thereon or object thereto must submit their comments or objections to
the City Manager, Room 105, City Hall, Eugene, Oregon 97401, in writing,
within fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of this notice.
