AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING DRUG PARAPHERNALILA; AMENDING
SECTION 3.005 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971; REPEALING
SECTIONS 3.300, 3.30, 3.304, 3.306, 3.308, 3.310,
3.31, AND 3.314 OF THAT CODE; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 3.005 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is amended by repea1-
ing therefrom the caption "Drug Paraphernalia" and the definitions set forth
thereunder,
Section ~. The caption "Drug Paraphernalia" immediately preceding Sec-
tion 3.300, and Sections 3.300, 3.30, 3.304, 3.306, 3.308, 3.310, 3.312,
and 3.314 of the Eugene Code, 1971, are hereby repealed,
Section 3. The City Recorder, at the request of, or with the concurY
rence of the City Attorney, is authorized to administratively correct any
reference errors contained herein, or in other provisions of the Eugene Code,
1911, tv the Sections amended or repealed herein.
Section 4. That the matters contained herein concern the public health,
welfare and safety and therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist,
and this Ordinance sha11 become effective immediately upon its passage by the
City Council and approval by the Mayor.
