HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 19302ORDINANCE NO. ~93D2 AN ORDINANCE ELECTING TO RECEIVE STATE REVENUE SHARING FUNDS PURSUANT TO OREGON REVISED STATUTES (221.17) AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Sectian 1. The City of Eugene, Oregon, far the fiscal year ending June 3a, 198b elects to receive distribution of funds from State Revenue Sharing pursuant to Oregon Revised Statutes 2~1.77C . Section 2. The Finance Director is hereby directed to file a copy of this Ordinance with the Executive Department of the State of Oregon as prescribed by Oregon Revised Statutes, therefore Section 3. Because election to receive State Revenue Sharing funds far the fiscal year ending June 30, 1986 is required by law to be made by the City Council by enactment of an ordinance and filed with the Executive Department of the State of Oregon, it is necessary for the welfare of the City of Eugene that said filing be made without delay, and an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
