HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 19334ORDINANCE NO. 19334 AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET; MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FDR THE CITY DF EUGENE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1984, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1985; and DECLARING AN EMERGENCY THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the supplemental budget for the City of Eugene, Oregan, far the year beginning July 1, 1984, and ending June 30, 1985, as set forth in Section ~ below, is hereby adopted. Section ~. That this supplemental budget is prepared in accordance with aRS 294.48Q~1)~a), which authorizes the formulation of a supplemental budget resulting from "An occurrence or condition which had not been ascer- tained at the time of the preparation of a budget for the current year which requires a change in financial p1anning." Section 4. This ordinance, in accordance with SRS 294,48Q(3}, does ". not authorize any increased levy of taxes," and appropriations for this supplemental budget shall be funded from previously uncommitted revenue. Sectian 5. The provisions of this ordinance are necessary for the purpose of protecting the public health, saftey and welfare, and therefore an emergency is declared to exist, and this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayar.
