AN ORDINANCE REQUESTING THAT JURISDICTION OVER
PORTIONS OF COUNTY ROAD NOS. 1313,32,543,636,1695, 1697, 1696,
1511, 1430, 1557, 2097, 2050, 1003, 2143, 2228, 200, 1123, 1500, 2236, AND
548 BE TRANSFERRED TO THE CITY OF EUGENE WITHIN A
SPECIFIED PERIOD OF TIME.
The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that:
A. The City Council finds it necessary and expedient and in the best interests of the
City to acquire jurisdiction over portions of certain county roads, to-wit, County Road Nos.
1313,32,543,636, 1695, 1697, 1696, 1511, 1430, 1557, 2097, 205~ 1003,2143, 2228, 20~
1123, 1500, 2236, and 548, as are more particularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference, all of which lie within the corporate limits of the City, to the
same extent as it has over other public streets and alleys of the City.
B. The Board of County Commissioners of Lane County, Oregon has authority under
provisions of ORS 373.270 to release jurisdiction over county roads within the limits of the City
of Eugene, and should be requested to do so.
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Based upon the above findings, which are incorporated herein by reference,
the City Council of the City of Eugene finds it necessary, expedient, and in the best interests of
the City to acquire jurisdiction over the portions of County Road Nos. 1313, 32, 543, 636, 1695,
1697, 1696, 1511, 1430, 1557, 2097, 2050, 1003, 2143, 2228, 200, 1123, 1500,2236, and 548,
located within the City of Eugene, which are more particularly described on Exhibit A attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the same extent as it has over other public streets
and alleys of the City.
Section 2. The City Council directs that a copy of this Ordinance be forwarded to the
Board of County Commissioners of Lane County, Oregon, which Board is requested to release
jurisdiction of the above described portions of County Road Nos. 1313, 32, 543, 636, 1695,
1697,1696,1511,1430, 1557,2097,2050, 1003,2143,2228,200, 1123, 1500, 2236, and 548, to
the City of Eugene in accordance with the provisions ofORS 373.270.
Section 3. Upon receipt by the City Manager, within one year from the date this
Ordinance is adopted by the Council and approved by the Mayor, of a certified copy of an order
of the Board of County Commissioners of Lane County, Oregon releasing jurisdiction of the
above described portions of County Road Nos. 1313, 32, 543, 636, 1695, 1697, 1696, 1511,
1430, 1557, 2097, 2050, 1003, 2143, 2228, 200, 1123, 1500, 2236, and 548, to the City of
Ordinance - 1
Eugene, the City shall have the same control, power and jurisdiction over the roads as it has over
all other streets and alleys within the City of Eugene.
Section 4. In the event of the Board of County Commissioners of Lane County fails to
enter the order referred to in Section 3 above within one year from the date this Ordinance is
adopted by the Council and approved by the Mayor, the request and authorization contained
herein shall terminate as though this Ordinance had not been adopted.

COUNTY ROAD SEGMENTS TO BE SURRENDERED TO THE CITY OF EUGENE
LeClal Descriptions
30TH AVENUE (County Road Number 1313) and all those portions of 30th Avenue
Ramp #30, Spring Boulevard Ramp #20, and the Spring Boulevard Overpass that lies
within or over the right of way of County Road Number 1313, from the previously
surrendered portion of 30th Avenue (accepted by City of Eugene Ordinance #19497),
being 100 feet, more or less, easterly of the east boundary of the Tenth Addition to
Nob Hill, as recorded in Book 69, Page 2, Lane County, Oregon Plat Records;
easterly 1500 feet, more or less, to the easterly right of way of Spring Boulevard all in
Section 9, Township 18 South, Range 3 West of the Willamette Meridian.
BARGER DRIVE (County Road Number 32) from the southerly extension of the
westerly boundary of Carlisle Estates, as platted and recorded in Book 69, Page 23,
in Lane County Oregon Plat Records, westerly 2242 feet, more or less, to the easterly
right of way of Greenhill Road, all in Section 17 and 20, Township 17 South, Range 4
West of the Willamette Meridian.
BLANTON ROAD (County Road Number 543) from Crest Drive, southerly and
southeasterly 1870 feet, more or less, to the northerly extension of the west line of
Southpointe Subdivision, P.U.D., as recorded in File 74, Slide 96, Lane County,
Oregon Plat Records, all in Section 7, Township 18 South, Range 3 West and
Section 12, Township 18 South, Range 4 West of the Willamette Meridian.
COUNTY FARM ROAD (County Road Number 636) from the previously surrendered
portion of Coburg Road (accepted by City of Eugene Ordinance #19497), being at the
"wye" connection at Coburg Road, northerly 2000 feet, more or less, to the northerly
extension of Dale Avenue, in Sections 8 and 17 South, Range 3 West of the
Willamette Meridian.
DALE AVENUE (County Road Number 1695) from the westerly right of way of
County Farm Road, westerly 300 feet, more or less, to the easterly extension of
Devon Avenue, all in Section 8, Township 17 South, Range 3 West of the Willamette
Meridian.
DEVON AVENUE (County Road Number 1697) from the southerly right of way of
Dale Avenue 310 feet, more or less, to the most easterly boundary of Second
Addition to Sterling View Estates, as platted and recorded on File 74, Slide 143, in
Lane County Oregon Plat Records, all in Section 8, Township 17 South, Range 3
West of the Willamette Meridian.
DOWNING STREET (County Road Number 1696) from the southerly right of way of
Dale Avenue, northwesterly 750 feet, more or less, to the northerly boundary of
Second Addition to Dale Subdivision, as platted and recorded on Book 52, Page 18,
