WORK SESSION: West Broadway Development Update Council President: I move to direct the City Manager to work with Connor and Woolley on developing a more detailed proposal related to West Broadway development to be brought back to the council. EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Executive Session is held pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(e) Mayor: The Eugene City Council will now meet in Executive Session to discuss real estate negotiations. The Executive Session is held pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(e). Representatives of the news media and designated staff shall be allowed to attend the executive session. All other members of the audience are asked to leave the room. Representatives of the news media are specifically directed not to report on any of the deliberations during the executive session, except to state the general subject of the session as previously announced. No decision may be made in executive session. At the end of the executive session, we will return to open session and welcome . the audience back into the room * Time approximate 7:30 P.M. ACTION: Election of City Council Officers for 2006 Council President: I move to elect ____________ as President of the City Council for 2006. Roll Call Vote Council President: I move to elect ____________ as Vice President of the City Council for 2006. 2. PUBLIC FORUM Mayor: The Public Forum is an opportunity for individuals to speak to the City Council on any city-related issues except for those items which have already been heard by a Hearings Official or are on tonight’s agenda as a public hearing. Each person will have three minutes to speak. Please give your name and address when you come to the podium. The timer and lights indicate the time you have to speak. A yellow light will come on when you have 15 seconds to complete your comments. The red light indicates the end of three minutes. Adoption of Resolution 4856 Acknowledging Receipt of the City of Eugene, Oregon Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the Fiscal Year Ended June 30, 2005 Council President: I move to approve the items on the Consent Calendar. Roll Call Vote The Mayor adjourns the meeting of the Eugene City Council and convenes a meeting of the Eugene Urban Renewal Agency. 4.ACTION: Resolution 1037 Acknowledging Receipt of the Annual Financial Report of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Eugene, Oregon, for the Fiscal Year Ended June 30, 2005 Urban Renewal Agency President: I move to adopt Resolution 1037 acknowledging receipt of the Annual Financial Report of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Eugene, Oregon, for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2005. Roll Call Vote The Mayor adjourns the meeting of the Eugene Urban Renewal Agency and re-convenes the meeting of the Eugene City Council. 5.PUBLIC HEARING: An Ordinance Concerning Remanded Provisions of Appendix B to Ordinance Nos. 20325 and 20326; Amending Ordinance Nos. 20325 and 20326 by Adoption of a New Appendix B; Repealing Section 5 of Each Ordinance; and Providing an Immediate Effective Date Manager: Introduces topic, presents background information. Mayor opens the public hearing: Those wishing to speak during the Public Hearing must submit a completed “Request to Speak” form to the information desk, prior to the beginning of the Public Hearing.
