City of Eugene/EwEB, SV 85- 2. ~ On the 13th day of November, 1985, the City Council of the City of Eugene passed Ordinance No. 19363 setting a hearing to be held on the 18th day of December, 1985, at the Council Chambers at City Hall, Eugene, Oregon, at which time and place protests and remonstrances could be heard as to the proposed vacation of the above described streets and alleys. Notice was duly and regularly given of the hearing and at said time and place the Council heard all objections. All persons owning property abutting the streets and alleys to be vacated have consented to the vacation and applied for the s arne . THB CITY 4F SIIGBNB DABS ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS; Section 1. The C ity Council of the City of Eugene f Inds that due and regular notice of the hearing was published and posted as by law required and no valid objections have been made at the hearing or f filed . The consent of the owners of the abutting property has been duly and regularly f filed in the proceedings and the public interest will not be prejudiced by the vacation of the streets and alleys. Section 2 . The hearing was held on the 1$ th day of December , 1985 at noon, Pacific Time, at the Council Chambers, City Hall, 1- Ordinance Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, and all matters necessary to be done in the premises have been duly and regularly completed. Section 3. The hereinabove described streets and alleys are hereby vacated, and the streets and alleys so vacated shall revert pursuant to the statutes of the State of Oregon, Section 4. The C ity Recorder is hereby directed to f ile a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of Lane County, Oregon, together with a map or plat of said property, and a certified copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with the Lane County Assessor and another certified copy shall be filed with the Lane County Surveyor. Ci Recorder -` (Acting) Mayor 2-~ ordinance EXHIBIT 'A' Those portions of the streets and alleys in and adja:ent to Block 10 of the original plat of Eugene City as recorded at Page 2 of Docket A, Lane County Oregon Records, described as follows: Parcel 1: That portion of Mill Street lying between the South margin of East 4th Avenue and the South line of the East-Nest alley extended. Parcel 2: The entire East-West alley lying between the East margin of High Street and the nest margin of Mill Street. Parcel 3: The North-South alley lying between the ~~ South line of the East-West alley and the North line of East 5th Avenue. Parcel 4: That portion of East 5th Avenue lying East of Southern Pacific Railroad and terminating at a point 51.4 feet East of the East margin of the North-South alley.
