AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING DOG LICENSE FEES; AMENDING
SECTION 4,375 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1911; AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY,
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1, Subsection 2 of Section 4, 375 of the Eugene Code, 197x, i s
amended to read and provide:
4,375 Licenses, Fees and Exceptions.
~~} The dog license fee which is due and payable upon the issuance
of a license, and the other fees required to be paid under the provisions of
this Code shat 1 be as follows:
Dog License Fee - Unneutered Fee ....................$10,00
Dog License Fee -Neutered Fee,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, 5.00
Dog License Fee - Owners 65 years of age or older... 5.00
Duplica to License ................................... 2.00
Impoundment ........................................ ~O.OO
Daily Care per day maximum,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, 3.50
Watchdog Permits ................................... 10.00
Section ~. That the matters contained herein concern the public welfare
and safety, and i n order to insure the orderly implementation of the fees
provided for herein, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Ordi-
nance shat 1 become effective immediately upon its passage by the City Counci 1
and approval by the Mayor.
