AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING ASSESSMENTS FOR PAVING AND SANITARY SEWERS IN
ALFARETTA DRIVE FROM RIO GLEN TO 700 FEET EAST; AMENDING ORDINANCE N0.
19350, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. '
Tie City Council of the City of Eugene finds that:
On September 9, 19$5, there was passed by the Council and approved by the
Mayor, Ordinance No. 19350, levying an estimated assessment against the
properties listed an the Assessment Ro11 attached thereto far paving and
sanitary sewers in Alfaretta Drive from Rio Glen to 700 feet East.
Final casts of the project have been calculated, and pursuant to the
provisisons of Section 7.240 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the assessment roll
attached to Ordinance No. 19350 should be amended to reflect the reduced
assessments for the assessment accounts.
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7.240 of the Eugene
Code, 1971, Ordinance No. 19350 passed by the Council and approved by the l~iayor
on September 9, 1985, is hereby amended by correcting the Assessment Ro11
attached hereto to reflect the reduced assessments for the remaining accounts
Listed thereon,
Section 2. The finance officer is directed to make the above corrections
to the docket of city liens and to .send a corrected notice of assessment to the
property owners set forth in Sectian 1 above.
Sectian 3. Except as herein specifically amended, all other provisions of
Ordinance No. 19350 and the assessments provided for therein remain in full
force and effect.
Section 4. It is necessary that the above corrections be made as soon as
possible, and therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this
Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage by the City Council
and approval by the Mayor.
