AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING ASSESSMENTS FOR SANITARY AND-STORM SEWERS IN
NIXON STREET FROM 24TH AVENUE TO 25TH AVENUE; AMENDING ORDINANCE N0.
19344, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that:
On August l2, 1985, there was gassed by the Council and approved by the
Mayan, Ordinance Na. 19344, levying an estimated assessment against the
properties listed on the Assessment Ro11 attached thereto for sanitary and
storm sewers in Nixon Street from 24th Avenue to 25th Avenue.
Final costs of the project have been calculated, and pursuant to the
provisions of .Section T.240 of the Eugene Code, 191, the assessment roll
attached to Ordinance No. 19344 should be amended to reflect the reduced
assessments far the assessment accounts.
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7.240 of the Eugene
Code, 1971, Ordinance No. 19344 passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor
an August 12, 1985, is hereby amended by correcting the Assessment Ro11
attached hereto to reflect the reduced assessments for the remaining accounts
listed thereon.
Section 2. The finance officer is directed to make the above corrections
to the docket of city liens and to send a corrected notice of assessment to the
property owners set forth in Section 1 above.
Section 3, Except as herein specifically amended, all other provisions of
Ordinance No. 19344 and the assessments provided for therein remain in full
force and effect.
Section 4. It is necessary that the above corrections be made as soon as
possible, and therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this
Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage by the City Council
and approval by the Mayor.

RECITALS:
The City Council of the City of Eugene did by Resolution No. 39__ 23 , adopted
19 85, determine to construct sanitary and storm sewers in Nixon~Street from 24th Avenue to
25th Avenue
The ~ity Council authorised the execution of a contract for. the construction of the local
improvements an ~ 19~,~.~
The estir~ated cost thereof is ascertained, and the initial amount to be assessed in accordance
with applicable provisions of the Eugene Code, 1971 has been determined to be:
