L G ~ ~q AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING ASSESSMENTS FOR PAVING AND STORM SEWERS ON SAM R STREET FROM 11TH AVENUE TO 12TH ,AVENUE; AND ON 12TH AVENUE FROM SAM R STREET TO WALLIS STREET; AND ON WALLIS STREET FROM 12TH AVENUE TO 900 FEET SOUTH; AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 19167, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: On July 25, 1983, there was passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor, Ordinance No. 19167, levying an estimated assessment against the properties listed on the Assessment Roll attached thereto for paving and storm sewers on Sam R Street from 11th Avenue to 12th Avenue; and on 12th Avenue from Sam R Street to Wallis Street; and on Wallis Street from 12th Avenue to 900 feet south. Final costs of the project have been calculated, and pursuant to the pravisisons of Section 7.240 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the assessment roll attached to Ordinance No. 19167 should be amended to reflect the reduced assessments far the assessment accounts. THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS. Section ~.. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7,240 of the Eugene Code, 1971, Ordinance No. 19167 passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor on July 2S, 1983, is hereby amended by correcting the Assessment Roll attached hereto to reflect the reduced assessments for the remaining accounts listed thereon. Section 2. The finance officer is directed to make the above corrections to the docket of city liens and to send a corrected notice of assessment to the property owners set Earth in Section 1 above. Section 3. Except as herein specifically amended, all other provisions of Ordinance No. ].9167 and the assessments provided far therein remain in full force and effect. Section 4.
