AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING ASSESSMENTS FOR SIDEWALKS AT 1494 GOODPASTURE
ISLAND ROAD; AT 3322 STOREY BOULEVARD; ON THE NORTH SIDE OF KIMBERLY
DRIVE WEST OF SPRING BOULEVARD; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 192$2, AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that:
0n September 24, 1984, there was passed by the Council and approved by the
Mayor, Ordinance Na. 19282, levying an estimated assessment against the
properties listed an the Assessment Roll attached thereto for sidewalks at 1494
Goadpasture Island Raad; at 3322 Storey Boulevard; on the north side of Kimberly
Drive west of Spring Boulevard.
Final casts of the project have been calculated, and pursuant to the
provisisons of Section 7.240 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, the assessment roll
attached to Ordinance No. 19282 should be amended to reflect the reduced
assessments far the assessment accounts.
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7.240 of the Eugene Cade,
1971, Ordinance No. 19282 passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor on
September 24, 1984, is hereby amended by correcting the Assessment Roll attached
hereto to reflect the reduced assessments for the remaining accounts listed
thereon.
Section 2. The finance officer is directed to make the above corrections to
the docket of city liens and to send a corrected notice of assessment to the
property owners set forth in Section 1 above.
Section 3. Except as herein specifically amended, all other provisions of
Ordinance Na. 19282 and the assessments provided far therein remain in fu11 force
and effect.
Section 4. It is necessary that the above corrections be made as soap as
possible, and therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this
Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage by the City Council and
approval by the Mayor.

RECITALS
The City Council of the City of Eugene did by Resolution No. _~1 _--, adopted March 14
19 84, determine to construct sidewalks at 1494 Goodpasture Island Road:. at 3322 Storey
Boulevard; and an the north side of Kimberly Drive west of Spring Boulevard X2110}
The pity Council authorized the execution of a contract for the construction of the 1oca1

The estimated cost thereof is ascertained, and the initial amount to be assessed in accordance
with applicable provisions of the Eugene Cade, 1911 has been determined to be:
