ORDINANCE N0. I 1 ~ ~I AN ORDINANCE LEVYING/CONCERNING ASSESSMENTS FOR SANITARY SEWERS IN BERTELSEN ROAD FROM 300 FEET SOUTH OF 18TH AVENUE TO BAILEY HILL ROAD; AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 19287, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: On October 8, 1984, there was passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor, Ordinance No. 19287, levying an estimated assessment against the properties listed on the Assessment Roll attached thereto for sanitary sewers in Bertelsen Road from 300 feet south of 18th Avenue to Bailey Hill Road. Final costs of the project have been calculated, and pursuant to the provisisons of Section 7.240 of the Eugene Cade, 1871, the assessment tall attached to Ordinance No. 192$7 should be amended to reflect the reduced assessments for the assessment accounts. THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7.240 of the Eugene Code, x.971, Ordinance Na. 19281 passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor on October 8, 19$4, is hereby amended by correcting the Assessment Roll attached hereto to reflect the reduced assessments for the remaining accounts listed thereon. Section 2. The finance officer is directed to make the above corrections to the docket of city liens and to send a corrected notice of assessment to the property owners set forth in Section l above. Section 3. Except as herein specifically amended, all other provisions of Ordinance No. 19287 and the assessments provided far therein remain in fu11 farce and effect. Section 4. It is necessary that the above corrections be made as soon as possible, and therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Ordinance sha11 be effective immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
