HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 19442ORDTNANCE N0. ~ ~ ~~ ~' AN ORDINANCE CONCERNTNG ASSESSMENTS FOR SANITARY SEWERS ON FERRY STREET FROM 18TH AVENUE TO 150 FEET NORTH OF 18TH AVENUE; A~~ENDTNG ORDTNANCE N0. 19367, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: On November 25, 1985, there was passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor, Ordinance No. 19367, levying an estimated assessment against the properties listed on the Assessment Roll attached thereto fox sanitary sewers on Ferry Street from 18th Avenue to 150 feet north of 18th Avenue. Final costs of the project have been calculated, and pursuant to the provisisons of Section 7.240 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the assessment roll attached to Ordinance No. 19367 should be amended to reflect the reduced assessments far the assessment accounts. THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDATN AS FOLLOWS; Section ~.. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7.240 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, Ordinance No. 19367 passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor on November 25, 1985, is hereby amended by correcting the Assessment Ro11 attached hereto to reflect the reduced assessments fax the remaining accounts listed thereon. Section 2. The finance officer is directed to make the above corrections to the docket of city liens and to send a corrected notice of assessment to the property owners set forth in Section 1 above. Section 3. Except as herein specifically amended, all other provisions of Ordinance No. 19367 and the assessments provided far therein remain in full farce and effect. Section 4. Tt is necessary that the above corrections be made as soon as possible, and therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
