AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING ASSE55MENTS FOR PAVING AND SANITARY
' SEWERS ON ROOSEVELT BOULEVARD FROM BERTELSEN ROAD TO MAPLE
STREET; AMENDING ORDINANCE ND. 19297, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
.The. City Council of the City of Eugene finds that:
On November 19, 1984, there was passed by the Council and approved by the
Mayan, Ordinance No. 19297, levying an estimated assessment against the
properties listed an the Assessment Ro11 attached thereto far paving and
sanitary sewers on Roosevelt Boulevard from Bertelsen Road to Maple Street.
Final costs of the project have been calculated, and pursuant to the
' provisions of Section.1.240 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the assessment roll
attached to Ordinance Na. 19297 should be amended to reflect the reduced
assessments for the assessment accounts.
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLQWS:
Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7.240 of the Eugene
Code, 1971, Ordinance No. 19297 passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor
on November l9, 1984, is hereby amended by correcting the Assessment Roll
attached hereto to reflect the reduced assessments for the remaining accounts
listed thereon.
Section 2. The finance officer is directed to make the above corrections
to the docket of city liens and to send a corrected notice of assessment to the
property owners set forth in Section 1 above.
Section 3. Except as herein specifically amended, all other provisions of
Ordinance No. 19297 and the assessments provided for therein remain in full
force and effect.
Section 4. It is necessary that the above carrectians be made as soon as
possible, and therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this
Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage by the City Council
and approval by the Mayor.
