HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 19485ORDINANCE N0.19455 AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET; MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CITY OF EUGENE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1986, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1981; and DECLARING AN EMERGENCY THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the supplemental budget for the City of Eugene, Oregon, for the,year beginning July 1, 1986, and ending June 30, 1981, as set forth ~n Section 2 below, is hereby adopted. Section 2. Fiscal Trans. - Loans 442,931 OTHER RE~U~REMENTS Reserves 442 937 391 828 TOTAL ORDINANCE $ 2,465,863 ORDINANCE - page 4 Section 3, That this supplemental budget is prepared in accordance with ORS 294.4801}~a}, which authorizes the formulation of a supplemental budget resulting from "An occurrence or condition which had not been ascer- ta~ned at the time of the preparation of a budget for the current year which requires a change i n financial planning . " This supplemental budget was published in accordance with ORS 294.480 ~3}. Section 4. This ordinance, in accordance with ORS 294.4803}, does ", ,not authorize any increased levy of taxes," and appropriations far this supplemental budget shall be funded from previously uncommitted revenue. Section 5. The provisions of this ordinance are necessary for the purpose of protecting the public health, safety and welfare, and therefore an emergency is declared to exist, and this ordinance shall become effective ~mmed~ately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
