An Qrdinance initiating the vacation of a portion of the
following described street, to-wit:
That portion of Henderson Avenue more particu-
larly described on Exhibit A attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference.

Section 3. The City Retarder is hereby directed to immedi-
ately publish once each week far four consecutive weeks '
in a
newspaper published in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, notice of the
proposed vacation. The notice shall give a description of the
area to be vacated as herein set out; state the date when this
Ordinance was passed, the name of any petitioners etitionin far

with the Recorder of the City of Eugene prior to the date of the
hearing, will be heard and considered.
Section 4. The City Recorder shall forthwith, and within
five days after the first publication of the notice ast or cause

to be posted, at or near each end of the proposed vacation a co

of the foregoing, which shall be headed "Notice of Street Vaca-
tion", and which notice shall be posted in at least two c '
onspicu-
ous places in or on the area proposed to be vacated.
The pasting and the first day of publication of the notice
shall be not less tha~~a twenty-eight X28 ~ days before the time set
for hearing.

EXHIBIT A
Beginning at a paint in the center of County Roads
Number 1~3 Henderson Avenue ~ and 4 3 3 ~Ti~heeler Road } as
said roads were surveyed in 1900 and 1889 respectively;
said point being on the Westerl colon anon of the

North line of Lot 34 in the Plat of Glenwood Park as
platted and recorded in Baok T, Page 481 of the Lane
County oregon,Deed Records; run thence South, along the
said centerlines and the centerline of County Road
Number ~J,A, Straight Road} as said road was surveyed in
1892, 730 feet, mare or less, to its intersection with
the Westerly prolongation of the South line of Block 3
in the amended Plat of Glenwood Park as platted and
recorded in Book ~5, Page 82 of the Lane Oregon Deed
Records and there ending in Lane County, Oregon,
RESERVING herein an easement for public utility purposes
over, under and across the above described property and
the rig~~t to enter thereon for purposes of construction
recons~r.~~uction and maintenance. r
ALSO RESERVING herein an emergency vehicle lane easement
~4 feet in width across the above described property for
use by ambulance, fire and law enforcement agencies,
including the right of ingress, egress and use of said
emergency lane, which shall be kept clear of materials
and storage and in a good state of repair.
