An Ordinance vacating the fallowing described street, to-wit:
That portion of Henderson Avenue more particu-
larly described on Exhibit A attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference.

On the 2nd day of June, 1987, the City Council of the Cit

of Eugene passed Ordinance No. 19489 setting a hearing to be held
at 7:30 p.m., Pacific Time on the 3rd day of August, 1987 at the
Council Chambers at City Hall, Eugene, Oregon, at which time and
place protests and remonstrances could be heard as to the ro osed
p p
vacation of the above described street.
Notice was duly and regularly given of the hearin and at

said time and place the Council heard all objections and deferred
final action to its meeting of September 9, 1987.
All persons owning property abutting the street to be vacated
have consented to the vacation and applied far the same.
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that
due and regular notice of the hearing was published and osted as

by law required and no valid objections have been made at the
hearing or filed. The consent of the owners of the abuttin
g
property has been duly and regularly filed in the proceedings and
the public interest will not be prejudiced by the vacation of the
street.
Section ~. The hearing was held on the 3rd day of Au ust

1987 at 7:3~ p.m., Pacific Time, at the Council Chambers, Cit
Y
Hall, Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, at the conclusion of which
Ordinance - 1
final action was deferred by the Council to its meeting of Septem-
ber 9, 1987 to enable Councilors to view the site of the vacation
request, That viewing has occurred, and all matters necessary to
be done in the premises have been duly and regularly completed.
Sect ion 3. The hereinabove described street is hereby
vacated, and the street so vacated shall revert pursuant to the
statutes of the State of Oregon.
Section 4, The City Recorder is hereby directed to file a
certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of Lane County,
Oregon, together with a map or plat of said property, and a cer-
tified copy of this ordinance shall be filed with the Lane County
Assessor and another certified copy shall be filed with the Lane
County Surveyor.

Beginning at a point in the center of County Roads
Number 103 Henderson Avenue} and 433 Wheeler Road} as
said roads were surveyed in 1900 and 1889 respectivel ;

said paint being on the Westerly prolongation of the
North line of Lat 34 in the Plat of Glenwood Park as
platted and recorded in Book T, Page 481 of the Lane
County Cregon,Deed Records; run thence South, along the
said centerlines and the centerline of County Road
Number J.A. Straight Roads as said road was surveyed in
1892, 730 feet, more or less, to its intersection with
the Westerly prolongation of the South line of Block ~
in the amended Plat of Glenwood Park as platted and
recorded in Book 25, Page 82 of the Lane Oregon Deed
Records and there ending in Lane County, Oregon.
RESERVING herein an easement for public utility purposes
over, under and across the above described property and
the right to enter thereon for purposes of construction,
reconstruction and maintenance.
