AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING SOLAR ACCESS REGULATIONS; AMENDING
THE SOLAR FACTOR TABLE APPENDED TO CHAPTER 9 OF THE EUGENE
CODE, 1911; REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 19507; AMENDING ORDI-
NANCE NOS. 19400, 19401, AND 19402; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Solar Factor Tables referred tO in provisions of the
Eugene Code, 1971, and appended to Chapter 9 thereof, shall be written so as
to reflect the slope i n five percent ~ 5°/~~ gradations .
Section 2. Ordinance No. 19501, passed by the City Council and a roved

by the Mayor an October 12, 1981, is repealed.
Section 3. Section 25 of Ordinance No. 19400, passed by the Council and
approved by the Mayor on August 13, 1986 is amended to read and rovide:

Section 25. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be effective
on December 1, 1987.
Section 4. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 19401, passed by the Council and
approved by the Mayor on August 13, 1986 is amended to read and rovide:

Section 2. This Ordinance shall become effective on December
1, 1987. Except as herein amended, all other provisions of Ordinance
No. 19329 remain in full force and effect, to which the City Recorder
is requested to append this Ordinance.
Sectian 5. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 19402 passed by the Council and
approved by the Mayor an August 13, 1986 is amended to read and provide:
Section 2. This Ordinance shall become effective on December
1, 1987. Except as herein amended, all other provisions of Ordinance
No. 18081 remain in full force and effect, to which the City Recorder
is directed to append this Ordinance.

section 6. The City Recorder, at the request of, or with the concur-
rence of the City Attorney, is authorized to administratively correct any
reference errors contained in this Ordinance or in other provisions of the
Eugene Cade, 1971 to the provisions amended herein.
Section 7. That the matters contained herein concern the public wel-
fare and safety and in order to insure the orderly implementation of the
previsions hereof, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Ordi-
Hance shall become effective on December ~, 1957.
