ORDINANCE NO. 19544
AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING DAY CARE FACILITIES AMENDING
SECTIONS 9.384, 9.386, AND 9.439 OF THE EUGENE CODE,
1911; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOI~S:
Section 1. The "Day Care Facilities" provision in the matrix set forth
in Section 9.384 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is amended to provide:
9.384 Uses. The following reflects the uses permitted outright, condi-
tionally, or subject to standards or other requirements of this
code within the RA, R-1, R-2, R-3, and R-4 zoning districts:

C .............. Conditional use permit approval required.
P/C ............ Permitted ar conditional See related standard.
Std ....,....... In addition to other applicable regulations, section
9.386 includes special standards for the use listed.

Section ~. Subsections X10}~a}2. and ~10~a}4. of Section 9.386 of the
Eugene Code, 1971, is amended to provide:

must conform to the fallowing standards:
2. Unless modified through the conditianal use permit
procedure, there must be at least 440 feet between day care
facilities of thirteen or mare persons.
4. Providers of day care service to three through twelve
persons in RA, R-1, and R-2 districts must reside in the
facility.
Section 3. The "Day care facilities" provision set forth in the matrix
in Section 9,439 is amended to provide:
