' RECITALS: The City Caunci 1 of the City of Eugene did by Resolution No3664 & 368~adopted P~~ay 19 - &- 19~, determine to construct storm sewer in Acorn Park Street from 14th Avenue to 17th Avenue and in 14th Avenue from Buck Street to Acorn Park Street, to serve Ivy G1 en PUD. and street paving on 14th Avenue from Acorn Park Street to Buck Street The City Council authorized the execution of a contract far the construction of the local improvements on Jul 12 , 19~,; . The local improvements have been constructed in accordance with the contract and applicable provi sions of the Eugene City. THE CITY OF EUGEPJE ROCS ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1, That the ~sti~mated cast of storm sewer in Acorn Park Street from 14th Avenue to 17th Avenue and in 14th Avenue from Buck Street to Acorn Park Street, to serve Ivy Glen PUD; and street paving on 14th Avenue from Acorn Park Street to Buck Street ~. in the City of Eugene, is the sum of ~ 102.,1~~^2, aforesaid, which is by this ordinance assessed against the parcels of property hereinafter described in the amounts set opposite, respectively. ` Section 2. That the City Council of the Gity ~f Fugene does ~.: hereby determine that each parcel of land or lot hereinbefore described is specifically benefitted to the extent of the assessment herainbefore • set forth, and does hereby declare each and all of said assessments to be liens upon the respective lots, parts of lots or parcels of land against which said several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the 1~~~~ance Ofi'i cer ~ ~ to enter i n the docket of City Liens , a statement thereaf . .. containing the following: ~~ First: A description of each lot, part of lot or acreage properly liable for such improvement. Second: The name of the owner ar reputed owner thereof, or that the name of the owner is unknown. R Third: The sum assessed upon said property and the date of entering the same in the said docket of City Liens. Section 4. That these provisions concern the public welfare because of the necessity to promptly record and ascertain the amount of each assessment and the lien arising therefrom, and the need to promptly notify affected property owners, and therefore an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
