RECITALS:
The City Counci] of the City of Eugene did by Reso]ution No. -.3569____, adopted ~~~y 2G _., ~_

19~, determine to construct sanitary sewer between Cresta-de-Ruta and Capital Drive to
serve Tax Lot IS-03-04-3i-00300, 2995 Capita] Drive
The City Council authorised the execution of a contract for the construction of the 1vca1
improvements on Jul ] 2 , 19 82;
' The loco] improvements have been constructed in accordance with the contract and applicab]e
provisions of the Eugene City Code and the cost thereof and amount tv be assessed have been ascertained to be:

The City Council has established the method of~ca1cu1ating local

improvement assessments in Sections 7.170 through 7.~1SO of the Eugene City
Cade; and
Notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners
of the hereinafter designated parcels of real property has been heretofore duly
and regularly given in compliance with the provisions of Chapter 7 of the
Eugene City Cade, and the City Council has heard any and all protests,
objections and remonstrances thereto and has fully considered them.
~'NE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FO~,~.OW5:
Section 1. That the total cost of santiary sewer between
Cresta-de-Rota and Capi tat Drive to serve Tax ~.at 18-03-04-31-00300, 295 .
Capital Drive
in the City of Eugene, is the sum of ~ 7,740.59 , aforesaid, which
is by this ordinance assessed against the parcels of property hereinafter
described in the amounts .set opposite, respectively.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon,
does hereby determine and assess each lot and part of lot being in Eugene,
Lane County, Oregon, to-wit:

Section 3. That the City Council of the City~af Fu~ene does

hereby determine that each parcel of land or lot hereinbefare described
is specifically benefitted to the extent of the assessment herPinbefare
set forth, and does hereby declare each and all of said assessments to
be liens. upon the respective tats, parts of fats or parcels of land
against which said several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the
~~~~nance Officer .~ to enter in the docket of City Liens, a statement thereof
containing the following:
First: A description of each lot, part of lot ar acreage properly
liab]e far such improvement.
Second: The name of the owner or reputed owner thereof, or that
the name of the owner is unknown,
Third: The sum assessed upon said property and the date of entering
the same in the said docket of City Liens.
Section 4. That these provisions concern the public welfare
because of the necessity to promptly record and ascertain the amount of
each assessment and the lien arising the.refram, and the~need to promptly
,notify affected property owners, and therefore an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, and this Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
