RECITALS: The City Council of the City of Eugene did by Resolution No. 3 6 9l , adopted ~ Un e 30 19 2 ,determine to pave street and construct sanitary sewer and storm sewer within Sommeroaks Industrial Park The City Council authorized the execution of a contract for the construction of the l gcal improvements on Elul 25 , 19 82 ; The estimated cost thereof is ascertained, and the amount to be assessed in accordance with applicable provisions of the Eugene City Code has been determined to be; Item 1. TOTAL: 9 , 411.94 3 ORDINANCE - 1 ~ P.W.ENGR.ADM. 010 10/82 i9o-7-~- The City Council has established the method of,calculatinq local improvement assessments in Sections 7.170 through 7:~~8Q of the Eugene City Code; and ~ ' ~~otice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners of the hereinafter designated parcels of real property has been heretofore duly and regularly given in compliance with the provisions of Chapter 7 of the Eugene City Code, and the City Council has heard any and all protests, objections and remonstrances thereto and has fully considered them. THE CITY OF EUGECdE DOES ORDAIN AS FOL~.OWS: Section 1. That the es:ti;mated cost of paving, sanitary sewer and storm sewer wi thin Summeroaks Industrial Park in the City of Eugene, is the sum of ~ 422.,402.48 __~, aforesaid, which is by this ordinance assessed against the parcels of property hereinafter described in the amounts set opposite, respectively. Section 2. Second: The name of the owner or reputed owner thereof, or that the name of the owner is unknown. . That these provisions concern the public welfare because of the necessity. to promptly record and ascertain the amount of each assessment and the lien arising therefrom, and the need to promptly notify affected property owners, and therefore an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage by the council and approval by the Mayor.
