AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING ASSESSMENTS FOR PAVING AND SIDEWALKS ON CRESCENT AVENUE FROM GILHAM ROAD To COBURG ROAD, AMEND2NG ORDINANCE NO. 19047; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: Qn October 25, 1982 there was passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor, Ordinance No. 19047 levying assessments against the properties listed on the Assessment Roll attached thereto for paving and sidewalks on Crescent Avenue from Gilliam Road to Coburg Road. An error has been discovered in the Assessment Roll, and the assessment of $3,142.44 shown far account 510017--0360 contained an incorrect Tax Lot Listing for David and Marilyn D. Calder, c/o Olivia Chaney Leiken of 17-~03-~17-13~-03300, and it should have re- flected for account 810017-0360 J. Dain and C. June Connor, TL 17-03-17-24-03300, in the same amount. Because of the erroneous tax lot listing, notice was not pro- vided to the proper parties prior to adoption of Ordinance No. 19047. Notice has now been given, and the assessment panel having confirmed its earlier finding and recommendation that the assess- ment be levied, ordinance No. 19047 should be amended by correct- ing the assessment roll attached thereto. Now, therefore, THE CITY OF EUGENE DOE5 ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. ordinance No. 19047, adopted by the Council on October 25, 1982, is hereby amended by deleting the names of David and Marilyn D. Calder, c/o Olivia Chaney Leiken, TL 17-03-17-13-03300 as reflected far account 510017-0360, and substituting therefor J. Dain and C. June Connor, 2096 Musket Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401, TL 17-03-17-24-03300. Section 2. Except as specifically amended herein, all other provisions of Ordinance No. 19047, including the assessments levied therein, are hereby confirmed. Section 3. That the provisions contained herein concern the public welfare and therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor. Passed by the City Council this day of November, 1982 City Re order Approved by the P2ayor this of Novembe 1982 Mayor Ordinance.
