AN ORDINANCE ELECTING TO RECEIVE STATE RE1lENUE SHARING FUNDS
DISTRIBUTED THROUGH THE OREGON LIQUOR CONTROL COMMISSION
ACCOUNT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1984, AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY,
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Sectian 1. The City of Eugene, Oregon, for the fiscal year ending
June elects to receive distribution of funds through the Oregon
Liquor Control Commission Account pursuant to Oregon Revised Statutes.
Section 2. The Finance Director is hereby directed to file a copy
of this Or lnance with the Executive Department of the State of Oregon
as prescribed by Oregon Revised Statutes.
Section 3. Since election to receive state revenue sharing funds
for t e ~sca year ending June 30, 1984 is required by law to be made
by the City Council by enactment of an ordinance and filed with the
Executive Department of the State of Oregon, it is necessary for the
welfare of the City of Eugene that said filing be made without delay,
and, therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
Ordinance shal 1 take effect and be i n full force from and after its
passage by the City Council and approva] by the Mayor.
