RECITALS:
The City Council of the City of Eugene did by Resolution No. ~~, adopted Janudr~ 26 ~ _~__
19'x, determine to pave street and construct sanitary sewer and storm sewer on Country Club
Road from I-105 to G'i1laaillespie Road, and an Willagillespie Raad from Gauntry Club to
300 feet south of Clinton Avenue; and storm sewer in area between Country Club Road and
I-105
T~jF~..~'ity Council authorized the execution of a contract far the construction of the loyal
improvements on ~ dul Y_28 ,~, 19 8I ; •
The local improvements have been constructed in accordance with the contract and applicable
provisions of the Euge~~e City Cade and the cost thereof and amount to be assessed have been ascertained to be:

The City Council has established the method of~calculating local
improvement assessments in Sections 7.170 through 1.180 of the Eugene City
Cade; and
Notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners,
of the hereinafter designated parcels of real property has been heretofore duly
and regularly given in compliance with the provisions of Chapter 7 of the
Eugene City Code, and the City Council has heard any and all protests,
objections and remonstrances thereto and has fully considered them.

section 3. That the City Council of the Cit~~of Eugene does

hereby determine that each parcel of land ar lat,hereinbefare described
is specifically benefitted to the extent of the assessment hereinbefore
set forth, and does hereby declare each and all of said assessments to
be liens upon the respective lots, parts of lots or arcels of land

against which said several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the
~~nance Officer .~ to enter in the Jacket of City Liens, a statement thereof
containing the following:
First; A description of each lot, part of lot or acreage properly
liable for such improvement.
Second; The name of the owner or reputed owner thereof, ar that
the name of the owner is unknown.
Third: The sum assessed upon said property and the date of entering
the same in the said docket of City Liens.
Section 4. That these provisions concern the public welfare
because of the necessity to promptly record and ascertain the amount of
each assessment and the lien arising therefrom, and the need to promptly
notify affected property owners, and therefore an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, aid this Ordinance shall become effective immediate)
