RECITALS:
The City Council of the City of Eugene did by Reso]ution No. 3 6 92 , adopted ~ U n e 30
19 82 ,determine to construct sanitary sewer from East Bank north to Centenni a
Boulevard to serve Tax Lots 17-03-29-30-02600, 17-03-29-40-301, 700, 800, 900
and 1000, and in Centennial Boulevard from 350 feet east of Centennial Loop to
4500 feet east of Centennial Loap
The City Council authorized the execution of a contract for the construction of the lgcal improvements
on r 2 > i9 $3 ;
The estimated cost thereof is ascertained, and the amount to be assessed in accordance with applicable
provisions of the Eugene City Code has been determined to be:

The City Council has established the method of calculating local
improvement assessments in Sections 7.110 through 7.180 of the Eugene City
Code; and
Notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners
of the hereinafter designated parcels of real property has been heretofore duly
and regularly given in compliance with the provisions of Chapter 7 of the
Eugene City Cade, and the City Council has heard any and all protests,
ab~ections and remonstrances thereto and has fully considered them.
THE CITY OF' EUGEPJE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the total cost of sanitary sewer from East Bank Trunk
north to Centennial Boulevard to serve Tax Lots 1703-29-30-~o26a0, 11-03-29-40-3a1,
100, 800, 900 and 1000, and i~n Centennial Boulevard from 350 feet east of
Centennial Loop to 4500 feet east of Centennial Looop
in the City of Eugene, is the sum of ~ 238,557.86 , aforesaid, which
is by this ordinance assessed against the parcels of property hereinafter
described in the amounts set opposite, respectively.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon,
does hereby determine and assess each lot and part of lot being in Eugene,
Lane County, Oregon, to-wit:

Section 3, That the City Council of the City of Eugene does
hereby determine that each parcel of 1 and or 1 of herei nbefore described
is specifically benefitted to the extent of the assessment hereinbefore
set forth, and does hereby declare each and all of said assessments to
be liens upon the respective lots, parts of lots or parcels of land
against which said several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs
the Finance Office to enter in the docket of City dens, a statement thereof
containing the following;
First: A description of each lot, part of lot or acreage properly
liable for such improvement.
Second: The name of the owner or reputed owner thereof, or that
the name of the owner is unknown.
Third; The sum assessed upon said property and the date of entering
the same in the said docket of City Liens.
Section 4. That these provisions concern the public welfare
because of the necessity to promptly record and ascertain the amount of
each assessment and the lien arising therefrom, and the need to promptly
notify affected property owners, and therefore an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, and this Ordinance sha11 become effective immediately
upon its passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
