Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance No. 19111AZ 82-7 ORDINANCE N0. ~~~ AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 8.813, 9.278, and 9.668 through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Counci 1 has the authority and responsibi1 ity, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change the zoning c1 assi fi cati on of property within the City. of Eugene; Based upon the report of the P1 anni ng Commission, the materials trans- mi tted therewith, and the evidence presented before the P1 anni ng Cammi ssi an and this City Counci 1, the request for zone change c1 assi f i cati on i s in conformance with the General P1 an; there i s a publ i c need far the change i n zone; and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; NOW, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adapts as its own the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes of February 1, 1983 and P1 anni ng Commission minutes of February 1, 1983 for the reasons set forth therein, and THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. As provided by Sections 8.625 and 9,275 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, the zone ng map, the sign district map, and the zani ng ordinance schedul e of district changes and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby amended to ref 1 ect the fol l awl ng change of zone and sign district: Tax Lot 300 ~narthwest portian~--Assessor's Map 18-03-03, as more particularly described on the attached Exhibit "A" , 1 ocated generally east of Laurel H i 11 Drive, south of Glenwood Drive. Change of zone from County AGT Agricultural Grazing and Timber Raising District to Gi ty R-2/SR Limited Multiple-Family Residential District with Site Review Procedures.
