ORDINANCE N0. ~, ~
AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND
AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FTNDS THAT:
Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 221.215 and Sections 8.813, 9.278, and
9.668 through.9:684 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, the City Council has the authority
and respons~b~l~ty, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change
the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene;
Based upon the report of the P1 anni ng Commission, the materials trans-
mi tted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Corti ssi on and
this City Council, the request for zone change classification is in conformance
with the General P1 an; there i s a public need for the change i n zone; and the
public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property;
NOW, THEREFORE,
Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own
the specific affirmative findings contained i n the P1 anni ng Department
staff notes of February 1, 1983, and Planning Commission minutes of February
1, 1983, for the reasons set forth therein, and
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. As provided by Sections 5.625 and 9.278 of the Eugene Code,
1971, the zoning map, the sign district map, and the zoning ordinance schedule
of district changes and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby
amended to ref 1 ect the following change of zone and sign district:
Tax Lot 304 southern portions--Assessor`s Map 18-03-03, as more particu-
l arty described on the attached Exhibit A, 1 ocated generally east of
Laurel Hill Drive, south of Glenwood Drive.
Change of Zone from County AGT Agricultural Grazing and Timber Raising
D~ str~ ct to C~ ty RAISR Suburban Residential District with Site Review
Procedures.
Section 2. The zoning designations provided for herein shat 1
become effects ve ,upon entry of a Fi nal Order of the Lane County Boundary

Section 3. The Planning Director i s hereby authorized and directed
to cause the zoning reap, the sign district map, the schedule of sign district
classification changes attached to Chapter 8, and the zoning ordinance schedule
of district changes attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, to show the
foregoing change of classification of area and to note thereon the rule with
respect to building in the appropriate classification.
