AN DRDINANCE ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET;
MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CITY OF EUGENE
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1982,
AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1983; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY
THE CITY OF EUGENE DDES ORDRIN A5 FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the supplemental budget for the City of Eugene, Oregon,
for the year beginning July 1, 1982, and ending June 30, 1983, as set forth
~n Section 2 below, ~s hereby adopted.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does
hereby ma e t e separate appropriation for each purpose, as detai 1 ed and i tem~
zed herein, pursuant to the provisions and in the manner provided by law as
follows:

Section 3. That this supplement a1 budget is prepared in accardance with
ORS 294. SO a a~, which authorizes the formulation of a supplemental budget
resulting from "an occurrence or condition which had not been ascertained at
the time of the preparation of a budget for the current year which requires a
change in f~nanc~ al pl ann~ng."
Section 4. This ordinance, in accordance with ORS 294.4803}, does
" .. . no aut orize any increased levy of taxes," and appropriations for this
supplemental budget shall be funded from previously uncommittee revenue.
Section 5. The provisions of this ordnance are necessary for the purpose
of protect ~ ng t e pub 1 i c health, safety, and we 1 f are, and therefore an emergency
i s declared to ex~ st, and the s ordinance shal 1 become effective immediately upon
its passage by the City Caunci 1 and approval by the Mayor.
