AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING SIGN DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION
AND AMENDING THE SIGN DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE,
OREGON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT:
Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 8.813 through
8.845 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority and
respons~b~lity, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change
the sign district classifications of property within the City of Eugene;
Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans-
mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and
this Council, the request far sign district change of classification is in
conformance with the intent and purpose of the Sign Code as required by Section
8.830 of the Eugene Code, 1971.
NOW, THEREFORE,
Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adapts as its own
the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff
notes of March 15, 1983, and the Planning Commission minutes of March 15, 1983,
for the reasons set forth herein, and
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. As provided by Section 8.625 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the
sign district map and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby
amended to reflect the fallowing change of sign district:
Tax Lot 4600--Assessor's Map 18-03-07-1 4, as more particularly described
on the attached Exhibit A, located at the southeast corner of 32nd Avenue
and Donald Street:
Change in Sign District from Residential Sign District to Outlying Com-
mercial Sign District,
Section 2. The Planning Director be and is hereby authorized and directed
to cause the sign district map and the schedule of sign district classification
changes attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, to show the fore oin
chan e of classification g g

building in the appropriate classification,
