AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE PATRGN USER FEE TAB;
AMENDING SECTION 3.810 of THE EUGENE CODE, 1971;
PROV2DTNG AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY. .
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES QRDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Subsection ~~} of Section 3.814 of the Eugene Code,
1971, is hereby amended to read and provide:
3.810
~~~ For the privilege of attending an event there is
hereby added to the admission fee. for each attendee a patron
user fee of $0. I~S~ 50, The patron user fee shall be:
~a} collected at the time the admission fee is
paid,
~b7 in addition~to the admission fee, and
~c} separately stated on any receipt for the
admission fee. ~ ~ .
Section 2. That the matters contained herein concern the public
welfare and in order to ensure the orderly implementation of the pro-
visions hereof, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this
Ordinance shall became effective on ~'uly 1, 1983, except that the
increased fee provided for herein shall not apply far tickets printed
and~+or distributed prior to that date for events occurring after that
date, which shall require payment of the fee as printed thereon.
