AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING ASSESSMENTS FOR PAVING AND STORM
ON MCKENDRICK STREET FROM GRAHAM DRIVE TO KARYL AVENUE;
AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 19070; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that:
On November 22, 1982, there was passed by the Council and approved by the
Mayor, Ordinance No. 19070, levying an estimated assessment against the
properties listed on t~~~e Assessment Roll attached thereto for paving and storm
sewer on McKendrick Street f~r•om Graham Drive to Karyl Avenue.
Final costs of the project have been calculated, and pursuant to the
provisions of Sections 7.235 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the Council has by
motion declared a deficit in the assessment for Account No. 8200080090 and
established July 13, 19,83 as the time far hearing objections to
the deficit assessment. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7.240 of the
Eugene Code, 1971, the assessment ro11 attached to Ordinance No. 19070 should
be amended to reflect the reduced assessments far the remaining accounts,
together with the deficit assessment for Account No. 8200080090.
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Based upon the above findings, which are incorporated herein,
and pursuant to the provisions of Sections 7.235 of the, Eugene Code, 1971, a
deficit assessment is hereby declared for Account No. 8200080090, and Ordinance,
No. 19070 passed by the Council on November 22, 1982 and approved by the Mayor ;
on November 22, 1982, is hereby amended by correcting the assessment ra11 as
attached hereto to reflect such deficit assessment.
Section 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7.240 of the Eugene Code,
1971, Ordinance No. 19070 passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor on
November 22, 1982 is hereby amended by correcting the Assessment Ra11 attached
hereto to reflect the reduced assessments for the remaining accounts listed
thereon.

Section 3. The finance officer is directed to make the above corrections
to t e dac et of city liens and to send a corrected notice of assessment to the
property owners set forth in Sections 1 and 2 above.
Sectian~4. Except as herein specifically amended, all other provisions of
Ordinance Na, 19070 and the assessments provided for therein remain in full
force and effect .
Section 5. It is necessary that the above corrections be made as soon as
passe e, an therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this
Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage by the City Council
and approval by the Mayor.
