Council President:
I move to direct the City Manager to
negotiate a land transaction between property owned by the
City and property owned by the Shedd Institute for the Arts,
LLC for the purpose of participating in the Whole Foods
Development Project, and to bring back final terms for council
approval.

Downtown Development Update - Oregon Research
Institute

I move to direct the City Manger to pursue
a combination of Downtown Revitalization Loan Program and
Business Development Fund financing in the range $2 million
for the ORI project, and to encourage ORI to work with its
developer and investors to close the remaining financing gap
in a timely manner.

The Public Forum is an opportunity for individuals to speak to the
City Council on any city-related issues except for those items which have

already been heard by a Hearings Official or are on tonight’s agenda as a
public hearing.
Each person will have three minutes to speak. Please give your name and
address when you come to the podium. The timer and lights indicate the time
you have to speak. A yellow light will come on when you have 15 seconds to
complete your comments. The red light indicates the end of three minutes.
Mayor closes Public Forum and asks for comments from the City Council.

An Ordinance Repealing Resolution No. 4127 and the Eugene Parks and
Recreation Plan Adopted Therein; Amending Section 9.8010 of the Eugene
Code, 1971; Repealing Section 9.9550 of that Code; and Adopting a

Recreation and Open Space Plan (“PROS Comprehensive Plan”) and
providing an effective date.
