THAT PART OF THE DISTRICT
EUGENE BY FINAL ORDER NO.
LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY

COMMISSION ON FEBRUARY
EMERGENCY.
The City Council of the City of Eugene by Resolution No. 3$33
adopted February 22, 1984, proposed withdrawal from the River Road
Water District of that part of the District annexed to the City on
February 2, 1984 by Final Order No. 815 of the Lane County Local
Government Boundary Commission, as hereinafter described.
The Resolution set March l4, 1984 at 12:QO o'clock noon,
Pacific Standard Time, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene,
Oregon, as the time and place for hearing objections to the with-
drawal, and directed that notice of the time and place of the hear-
ing be published once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to
the hearing and be pasted in~four public places in the City for the
same period.
The Notice has been sa published in the Eugene Register Guard
and posted in four public places in the City of Eugene, Oregon.
The City desires to assume liability of the District propor-
tionate to the part of the District that has been annexed to the
City.
No party has objected to the withdrawal of the annexed terri-
tort' Pram the District, and it is in the best interest of the City
that the territory be withdrawn.

Section 2. The matters contained herein concern the public
welfare and, therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist,
and this Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
passage by the City Council, and approval by the Mayor.
