HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 19245i~~ ORDINANCE N0. ~~ AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING ASSESSMENTS FOR PAVING AND SIDEWALKS ON NORKENZIE ROAD FROM BELTLINE ROAD TO 125 FEET NORT~i OF BALBOA STREET; AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 19068; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that; On November 22,.1982, there was passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor, Ordinance No. 19068, levying an estimated assessment against the properties listed on the Assessment Roll attached thereto for paving and sidewalks on Norkenzie Road from Beltline Road to 125 feet north of Balboa Street, Final casts of the project have been calculated, and pursuant to the provisions of Sections 7.235 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the Council has by motion declared a deficit in the assessment for Account No. 8200060210 and established ...,•.,' f. ~a .... ~ . ~ . , 198 as the time for hearing objections to the def7c7t asse sment, ursuan to the provisions of Section 1,20 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the assessment roll attached to Ordinance No. 19068 should be amended to reflect the reduced assessments far the remaining accounts, together with anew Account No. 8200060211 reflecting the deficit amount for Account No. 8200060210, THE CITY OF El1GENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Based upon the above findings, which are incorporated herein, and pursuant a the provisions of Sections 1,235 of the Eugene Code, 1911, a deficit assessment is hereby declared far Account No, 8200060210, and Ordinance No. 19068 passed by the Council on November 22, 1982 and approved by the Mayor on November 22, 1982, is hereby amended by correcting the assessment roll as attached hereto to reflect such deficit assessment. Section 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 1.20 of the Eugene Cade, 1911, Ord a e No. 19068 passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor on November 22, 1982 is hereby amended by correcting the Assessment Roll attached hereto to reflect the reduced assessments for the remaining accounts listed thereon. Section 3. The finance .officer is directed to make the above corrections to the docket^of city liens and to send a corrected notice of assessment to the property owners set forth in Sections 1 and 2 above. Section 4. Except as herein specifically amended, all other provisions of Ordnance No. 19068 and the assessments provided for therein remain in full force and effect .
