ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER
of the
Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon
&tablishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone
For the West Side of Orchard Street
Between 15th and 17th Avenues
The Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that:
A. Residential Permit Parking Zones Regulations Administrative Rule R-5.040 provides that
the designation of or removal of such permit parking zones be effected by administrative order of the
City's Traffic Engineer.
B. On August 3, 1992, the City received an application signed by over 50% of the adjacent
property owners and tenants for designating a residential permit parking zone along the entire east block
face of Orchard Street between 15th Avenue and 17th Avenue.
C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking zone was given to
property owners and tenants within the affected area of the proposed zone.
D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity with the policies,
regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040.
NOW, THEREFORE,
Based upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in Administrative Rule
R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders that:
1. The following described area is hereby established as a residential permit parking zone:
The one block section along the west side of Orchard Street between 15th
Avenue and 17th Avenue
2. The zone shall be designated Zone A and shall allow 2-hour public parking between 9:00
a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays and except Zone A permitted
vehicles.
3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone designated herein may
apply for a Zone A permit entitling the holder thereof to preferential long-term parking at Zone A signed
parking areas within the designated zone.
4.
Permit applications shall be processed as provided in Administrative Rule R-5.040.
