HomeMy WebLinkAboutAdmin Order 58-93-01 -:Ii 5B~ C\~-b' ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER of the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon Establishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone For The East Skinner Butte Historic District's 200 Block or Pearl Street The Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that: A. Administrative Rule R-S.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones Regulations, provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking zones would be effected by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. B. On October S, 1992, the City received an application signed by over SO% of the adjacent property owners and tenants for designating a residential permit parking zone for both sides of Pearl Street's 200 block. C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking zone was given to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the proposed zone. D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity with the policies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-S.040. NOW, THEREFORE, Based upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in Administrative Rule R-S.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders that: 1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit parking zone: The one block section along both sides of Pearl Street between East 2nd and East 3rd Avenues. 2. The zone shall be designated Zone E and shall allow 2-hour public parking between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays and except Zone E permitted vehicles. 3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone designated herein may apply for a Zone E permit entitling the holder thereof to preferential long-term parking at Zone E signed parking areas within the designated zone. 4.
