ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER
of the
Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon
Establishing a Residential Per.mit Parking Zone Plus s-Hour Meter Parking
For The West Side of Lincoln Street's 1000 Block
The Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that:
A. Administrative Rule R-s.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones
Regulations, provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking
zones would be effected by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer.
B. On March 2, 1999, the City received an application signed by over 50%
of the adjacent property owners and tenants for designating a residential permit
parking - 5 hour meter zone for the west side of Lincoln Street's 1000 block.
C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking
zone was given to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the
proposed zone.
D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity
with the policies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040.
NOW, THEREFORE,
Based upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in
Administrative Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders
that:
1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit
parking zone plus a 5-hour meter zone:
The west side of Lincoln Street between W 10th and W 11th Avenues.
2. The zone shall be designated Zone E and shall allow 5-hour meter
public parking between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, except
legal holidays and except Zone E permitted vehicles.
3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone
designated herein may apply for a Zone E permit entitling the holder thereof to
preferential long-term parking at Zone E signed parking areas within the
designated zone.
4. Permit applications shall be processed as provided in Administrative
Rule R-5.040.
