AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE INTERIM COMMUNITY
DE1lELOPMENT COMMITTEE; AMENDING ORDINANCE
N0, 19239; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1, Subsection B of Section 4 of Ordinance No, 19239 adopted by
the council and approved by the mayor on April 11, 1984, is hereby amended to
read and provide:
B, Membership, The committee shat 1 consist of:
1, Two City Councilors;
2, One Planning Commission member;

3. Two members of
Z the Joint Housing Committee;
4. One member of the former Community Development Committee;
5, One member of the Downtown Commission;
6, One neighborhood leader; and
7, One representative of the publ i c-at-large,

Federal ,regulations affecting the programs over which the committee will have

Section 2, That the matters contained herein concern the public welfare,
and in order to timely solicit and appoint members in accordance with the
pravi sions hereof, an emergency i s hereby declared to exist, and this ordi H-
ance shat l became effective immediately upon its passage by the counci 1 and
approval by the mayor,
